Grandma and her fantasy stories

Saumya loved to stay with her granny as she found her lodging very mysterious and she used to tell fantasy stories to Saumya like once she told about a secret door in her cupboard when she was a kid. But saumya’s own mother did not believe all of this, she used to think all of these thing could spoil her child.

One summer Saumya and her mother went to Saumya's grandma’s house. “Ma, open the door” shouted Mrs. Neha, Saumya's mom. “Coming” shouted her grandma. Granny opened the door and said “ahh, I was waiting for you since morning, come in”. “Ma I have to go now” said Mrs. Neha. “But where?” asked grandma. “Back home, I just came here to leave Saumya.” Said Mrs. Neha and left through the door. “Granny tell me something mysterious about this place so we can investigate” said Saumya. “Come on, let’s sit in the drawing room and eat something. I will start telling you over there.” Said granny and they moved towards the drawing room. “Now listen, you know I am living here since I was born. So when I was of your age I found a secret door to the kingdom of fairies…” said granny. “Did you go over there?” asked Saumya interrupting. “Are! Let me finish. Oh so I found it in my garden…” said granny and again got interrupted by her granddaughter “How was it?” “Mum, I did not go there exactly, as there was…no no no, I was scared.” said grandma like creating her own fiction. “Where is it now?” asked Saumya. “Um yes maybe, o yes it got vanished” answered granny. Ting-tong, the doorbell rang. By a surprise it was the mother of Saumya, “oh you know I completely forgot that today is your English class and I came back from the half way no come on we have to go back home.” Said Mrs. Neha and went inside to take Saumya’s bag. They waved a bye to granny and moved into the car. “Mum, today I don’t know why grandma was hesitating while telling me a story” complained Saumya. “Of course she tells you a self-created stories and even you belief in it.” Said her mother. “No no no she does not” replied Saumya as they were moving on towards home!

a fair charming boy, with blood red lips, a black hood and a fearful laugh. Who is he, what do you think? Yes he is a Dracula, Who lives in a fearful castle at G.W that is ghost world. His name is Grisly and he live with the royal team with G.host, D.evil, S.pook and his minister V.ampire. All the people in G.W. love to haunt people and the place is in the forest where no one can enter. Ghost, Dracula, witches, mummies and all type of spooky things live together. Once grisly was planning to go out and explore the human world as the king of G.W he wanted to tell his people all about the place where humans live. In the royal spooky court “no king you must not go there, you know that the people there hate us” said g.host. “But what if we have wrong information about them” said S.Pook. “yes my spooky Dracula S.Pook is correct, you may go.” said his minister V.ampire. “yes I think I may go” said grisly “zombie staff pack my things. Witch staff make a drink so I can survive in the sunlight and my ministers you all prepare the time I must leave” as he ordered his requests. “as you say king, then you must leave tomorrow in midnight ” said d.evil as every one agreed.

As the next day after a good 12 hour sleep of the Dracula, at midnight he announced to his people that in his absence his minister should handle every thing.

After that he transformed himself into a Bat and flied away with his suitcase to the human world. As he entered he saw jack-o-lanterns at every house. There were people outside in the markets buying thing as it was 30^th October, a night before Halloween. He could not understand why were these all humans out at midnight. He saw a garden in a castle in which a girl was sitting in a gown and she was looking very kind. So at the gate he transformed himself into his own get up and walked inside “excuse, can you tell me why is everyone outside at midnight” he asked to the girl. “why are you Mr.” the girl answered him. “ why are you miss, you must be asleep” said Grisly returning to the girl. “excuse me sir I am the princess of this place, you are not allowed to talk to me like this and tomorrow is Halloween so everybody is buying their needs” said the newly known princess. “ Oh! I am sorry majesty. But can you tell me what is Halloween said Grisly bowing. “Oh! Sir you are in your costume and you do not know what is Halloween” said the princess pointing to Grisly's costume “ I am grisly, the king of G.W, we don't celebrate Halloween and this is my daily costume” said the Dracula. “oh really, so lets tell you about Halloween, Halloween is a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related guising), attending Halloween costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing and divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows' Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remain popular, although elsewhere it is a more commercial and secular celebration.” explained the princess. “Sofia come inside” a voice came from inside. “ now I have to go take this this invitation and come to my Halloween party tomorrow. He liked the princess a lot as he went on. He found a room in a hotel and went inside. He could not stop thinking about the Sofia. The next morning he woke up. Grisly drank the the portion that the witches have given has given him and left for walking in the human world. As he was passing by , he saw the palace and thought of meeting the princess as you know he liked the princess. The Princess was standing in her balcony and as she saw grisly she waved to him “hello Mr grisly how are you. wait I'm just coming.” said Sofia and moved down. “hello princess how are you, shall we become friends” said the Dracula. “I thought we were yesterday only” said Sofia laughing. “ come inside please meet my family” said Sofia again. “yeah sure” said the Dracula. “ mom dad come here I have have mad e a new friend” sofia said and and her mum dad came down. “ yes Sofia, what happened” said the king. “ hey dad he is Grisly, the prince of G.W and my new friend” said Sofia. “oh so majesty where are you staying” asked the king. “ I am staying in a hotel nearby” answered Grisly. “ oh, at night you are staying here and till you are here” said the king. “OK” said Grisly and so he went back up his things meanwhile at the castle “ do you like Grisly” asked the queen . “yes a little bit” answered sofia. “ are you fine to marry him” asked the queen. “Yeah no problem” said sofia. “ I think he is a kind hearted guy” said sofia. “OK Then today in the party we will announce this and ask Grisly what does he thinks. In the evening as all guest arrived, the king went on the stage and announced “my daughter is at the age of getting married and I got a partner for her. Who is Mr. Grisly the prince of G.W. . so I want to ask him is he willing to marry my daughter”. After hearing this grisly said “ummm.... I... I want to talk to sofia first.”. “ I can marry you but first I want to tell you something, I am a Dracula and G.W. means ghost world” Grisly said as Sofia came to him. “ oh my god you are a Dracula, now I want to marry only you, so that humans and ghost have a good friendship” said Sofia and grisly was so surprised. Just then Sofia went to the stage and announced “ As we already told you that we have to make relationship with other creatures on earth. So now we have an opportunity, my fiancée Grisly is a Dracula and he so kind hearted so I can believe that the ghost are not any worse, so we both have decided to marry” after Sofia said this the audience cheered as they all agreed her and then the marriage day came where humans and ghost both were invited. From that day every thing changed.

            Jenny's imagination diary

The magician is going to cast a spell and “wake up!!” the magician speaks in her mother’s voice. Then jenny woke up, “mom today I got a frightful dream once again” shrieks Jenny. “Oh dear! I just hate this, it’s not going to come true! Now you are ten years old. Get up now or you would be late today” speaks Mrs. Martha jenny’s mother. Jenny goes for a bath thinking that it should not be like Alice in the wonderland to fall into a tunnel which Alice dreamt off. “Mom what if I fall like Alice and reach in magic world which I dream off??”Said jenny while munching a piece of bread. “Oh jen you are turning silly as you grow up” said Mrs. Martha handing over bag to her daughter and waving to her as she gets out of the door.

Jenny meets Mary and sandy on her gate. “What is the next episode of your dream” said Mary Lenox speaks to her best friend. Where did you reach in your magical world” said sandy laughing. The three friends walked to the school while jenny telling her frightful episode of her dream. The friends reach school greeted by their academic head ms. Johnson with a great good morning. The three reach their class and heard the noise of their class of twenty five students and their the most dangerous person of the class ‘their monitor’ Anna Lass was shouting as if she is a lion and she is roaring on its prey. Then there came the sweetest person on earth, their class teacher miss Daisy. They all were sitting with their fixed partners – jenny-christen, sandy-David and Mary – Abraham. They all were sitting in three rows of eight each. It was the third period when it was a marking tool of theatres that they had to express their imagination on the magic world and jenny got full twenty on twenty as he dreamt the same every day. She was called imaginary girl by the all of the teachers of grade five and she was called by the theatre teacher also. Mary and sandy were on a walk with jenny in the lunch break , “I think I can write a book on you” said Mary said with a chuckle. “yeah named as jenny in the magical land” said sandy making a clap with Mary. “Will you guys stop cracking jokes , I think there is something connected with my dreams . didn’t you heard miss scarlet saying that we get dreams if our brains want to tell us something ???”said Jenny thinking about her dreams. The bell rang with a hilarious tune. They reached in their class and saw miss Daisy writing on the board that the autumn break is going to start tomorrow. “Aye jenny you were correct we will try to investigate about your dreams in this autumn breaks ” Mary whispered in Jenny’s ears. The class was very happy that the autumn breaks were starting and they would get relief from studies.

Jenny reached home she saw mother cooking her favorite food apple pie. She ran to the kitchen and hugged her mother , started eating her favorite dish. After the meal she told her mother about the autumn breaks. Jenny went in her room and flipped through albums. she saw the pictures of Sandy and Mary as they usually had stay over in each other’s house. This time it was the turn of Jenny .they always spend half of the holidays at each other’s house. They come on the first day of their holidays. Mary got fresh and started making the list of items to do in the stay over.

Mary and Sandy came in the evening only for the sleepover as they were really generous about the imagination girl’s dream. “Do you have any locked rooms in your house” asked sandy chewing the biscuits made by Mrs. Martha ,“no rooms but the terrace is locked from years . dad says that this house is really old and the lock was inserted by my great great great grandfather, no one knows why, even my great great grandfather(his son) don’t know and the terrace is covered” said Jenny . “Let’s go their tomorrow as it is dark right now” said Mary with great excitement. “Girls it’s time for dinner” said Mr. Hercules Jenny’s dad called them to dining room. They ate dinner and slept fast as they have to get up early in the morning.

All of them woke up at nine am, all of them got fresh, they were ready for their mission at ten thirty a.m . “today I dreamt that I became friend with one of the magician but he turned into enemies and started to trick on me” said Jenny showing an attitude getting scared ,”ha hah ha , don’t worry .come on lets continue our mission” said Sandy laughing. All of them went upstairs leaded by Jenny . when they reached the terrace, they discovered that the door was very dirty and not cleaned since years. Mary had a master key as his dad was a military man ,so they tried to open the door by the key but it did not open . “what should we do now” asked Mary and fell down ,she landed on a brick and the door opened , “wow” said Jenny and Sandy with joy in their eyes . they went inside and found a room in which there was a table and a copy with heading ‘my imaginary book’ and there was a design bumped inside. they opened the first page where it was written rules and regulation-

1. This is an really old book so just write your imagination in this book
2. It will not write if the thing is true
3. Only the pen with this diary will write in this diary
4. Take care of it and write your imagination
5. It will not tell you the answers of your questions

They went to their room “let’s write that mother will bring apple pie in our room” said Jenny while doing the same. Then Jenny’s mother brought apple pie in their room. They all were really amazed . after that Mary said “no that is not possible. it is not magical diary . Of course not Write something else” said Sandy . “children come on lets go to shopping” asked Jenny’s mother in a loving mood. “no ma we are working on a project. Bye enjoy” said Jenny waving back. “ok” said mother and went by the door. “I want to eat some chocolates” said Sandy cheer fully “Let’s write that it starts raining chocolates for two minutes” said Mary with getting the delicious taste of chocolates in her mouth. And what !!! it started raining chocolates outside. Then Jenny wrote that remove he chocolate which fell from the rain and it got vanished.“Oh my god !!! is this an magical diary. Wonderful.” Said Sandy. “yes” said Jenny and Mary. “Ok lets write that there is a magical hidden room in my house” said Jenny writing the same. Nothing happened, it means that…” said Sandy in exclamation. “there is one, we need to find out where.” Said Mary. “come on let’s find out and we won’t tell anyone about the diary and our mission, even my parents.” said Jenny. They took out their phones and searched how to find out if there is any hidden room so how to find about that room, there it was written ‘press your walls maybe there can be any hidden button or else you can try out pulling some objects such as a branch of a tree’. “Ok, then first let’s find out in our room” they pressed In each wall but did not open anything. “hey children its 8:30 lets have dinner” said Mrs. Martha entering through the main door. “Ok mom” said Jenny. “Then lets continue this tomorrow” said Mary with a smile. They all reached to the dining hall and started eating their yummy mouth melting pizzas “mom! Where is daddy?” said Jenny talking to her mother. “He has gone for a meeting in Melbourne” said her mother. After having their delicious meal they all went to bed. “Good night guys lets continue our mission tomorrow.” Said Sandy with a snore. “good night” said Mary and Jenny.

That night all of them slept peacefully that night. He next morning the first one to wakeup was Sandy, then she went to wake up Jenny and Mary. Jenny woke up easily but they both had a difficult time with Mary. “aghh” said Mary pushing both the girls aside. “Come on Mary wake up” said Sandy with a grin. “we have to continue our mission” said Jenny and Mary woke up within seconds. They all got ready and went for breakfast (actually it should be called brunch) at twelve noon. They had bread and milk as breakfast. “hey Jenny what is the next episode of your dreams” said Mary chuckling. “Ok, this was a good one actually the first good dream of my life I reached in the fairy world where I was treated like a princess and the magicians were my servants in that amazing fairy world.” Replied Jenny. Oh thank goodness you did not dream that rubbish magic world” said Mrs. Martha and everyone laughed. At one they begin their mission ‘hidden door at jenny’s house’. Now their task was to find the hidden rooms in her house without letting anyone know about their mission. Then they went to her father’s writing room they saw a button. “is it what I am thinking” said Jenny cheerfully. “Maybe” said Mary while Jenny pressed the button but nothing happened just a world map opened. “Oh! I thought that we just solved the mystery oh” said Sandy with a sad face. “Don’t worry we will find out the secret door in my house” said Jenny with cheering up the girls. They searched on the window panes, his study table everywhere else but they did not find even a single clue. Being tired all of them sat on the table. “Oh its 4:00 we need to go for snack and aunt would be thinking that we are silently playing. Oh no the diary is out what if she writes in the book about her grocery list as you told she writes every small rough note pad” said Mary continuously without stopping. “Yes fast” said Sandy and Jenny with a jinx. they moved to their room and took a comfortable breath as the diary was safe, all of them hid the diary in a safe and secure place. They went for their snacks and they ate a donut with chocolate fills. “Thanks aunty for this amazing donut” said Mary. “It was really delicious” said Sandy, “ya mom I could not believe that it’s made by you” said Jenny with a smile. “Thank children” said Mrs. Martha. All the girls went to Jenny’s room. “Guys I am tired I can’t do more research I am really tired” said Jenny. “ok we will do it tomorrow” said Sandy. “Ok” said Mary. They all relaxed on their beds even got their dinner on bed, all of them slept early.

In the morning they woke up at ten they all were sitting in the bed after waking up and discussed about the matter of secret room. “Let’s go in the garden and find out any hidden road or tunnel in which we can fall in like Alice reached her wonderland and we will reach our hidden room” said Sandy laughing, “but like this without bathing” said Jenny, “of course” said Mary and everyone moving through the gate towards the garden. “Where are you going kids?” asked Mrs. Martha. “To the garden” replied Jenny nervously. “Ok go, but can you cut the grass” said Mrs. Martha. “Yes, sure” replied Jenny. They all went to the garden and the first thing they did was to take out the grass cutter from the store room but they found a really old box which was locked “Mary please open it this might have something important clue for us” said Jenny. Mary did as Jenny said and it opened. It contained spices, a book same as they got and just the design was bumped inside and a key. Oh can you see the design is same as on our book. “We may join them, and maybe this is the key to secret room.” Said Mary

“We may take all the item inside your room” said Mary and all of them went inside the room secretly. At first they joint both the diaries together and then there came a light and both became one single diary and a big map slipped down, they all studied the map. Jenny do yo have a house map , please bring” said Sandy and Jenny did as she said. “ Sandy its matching” said Mary doing the matching. “Look there is a cross here” said Sandy. “it means something is over here… this is my grandparents room.” Said Jenny. “Let’s go there with the key” said Mary. There were photos of Jenny’s ancestors, all of them first checked behind them. “Look I found a key hole behind the picture of my great great grandfather.” Said Jenny with excitement. They inserted the key an a big secret room opened, they all were really exited they saw a photo frame of Jenny’s great great grandfather which spoke ‘yes, you are the one who gets dreams’ “yes” said Jenny scared. ‘who are you mine?’ said the picture. “your grandsons grand- -daughter.” Said Jenny. ‘Oh and these both’ said the picture , “my friends” said Jenny. ‘now listen I was a magician of the king at my time and I had this room as a secret one, no one knew about this room. But while doing magic in this room I did a mistake and was caught by this magic screen, now you need to free me that’s why I called you by your dreams only as the magic do not work. Now you must got a book to get to know this place. Place it on that table and rub.’ Said the picture. They did it as he told them. Then he came out of the screen. ‘thanks my children and now you will stop getting those kind of dreams. No I must go to the place where I belong in this time, the heaven. As days passed jenny stopped getting these kind of dreams and she kept these things as a secret.

That experience was enough

As the rocket launched Any,a short hair girl 9 year old girl was very happy to become the worlds youngest girl to fly in the space. She was flying with her sister Amy who was her 19 year old sister. Any removed their space suits and took out a packet of fruit juice tetra pack and sucked it from the packet. “sis, why you do so much make up? Even in space” said Any taunting her sister as she took her make up box out and started applying lipstick and foundation. “this is just just touch up” said Amy angrily. “the aliens will get scared on mars” she said laughing. “Ok, Any hold your horses and no jokes let's create this space ship like a beautiful lodging” said amy.

As they saw the earth going far away, “hello space ship 083, Amy and Any” a voice came through radio talker. “ yes, professor dabbler space ship 083 reporting” said Amy recognizing the voice of her professor. “oh so you have been reached in space, and now you have to land on mars to investigate, bring on some of mars sand also so that we can investigate for finding life on that place” said the professor. “ OK sir there are exactly....” said an incomplete as she was interrupted by her sister Any “ 4 minutes 34 seconds to reach mars”. “well done Amy and Any are you ready... wear your space suits and open the satellite on your space ship” said prof. Dabbler. “OK” said Amy and Any together.

They wore their space suits and now exactly 2 minutes were left for landing. After switching the satellite on they stood on the door of space ship and they saw a orangish-yellow surface and the most awaiting moment came they were going to land.

As they landed at first they collected the sand of mars they begin to move forward. They saw a monster coming to them shouting, wake up wake up. It felt like a massive earth quake and ahhhh Any woke up, it was her school time an she was getting late.

The world beyond our thoughts

Larry, a very experienced retired writer. Often went for many interviews of famous stars and he published them in ‘the English times’. But the most important interview was when he took the interview of his country’s president DR. Ron George, as he reminds he says ‘“good evening sir” I said as I met him. “Good morning, I suppose you are here for an interview” he said with a smile. “Yes sir, I want to ask you that what are the your plans for our country in these year?” I asked with hesitation. “I will help my people and bring a lot of things here so my people don’t have any problems” he said something like this. “Listen I will tell you just tell you some of those as it was sixty years ago and I do not even remember” he said to us. “I remember that I asked him that how did he got inspiration to become a lead” Larry said. He answered like this “it’s a long story so I know you have time so listen, once then I when I was ten year old I got a dream in which I saw this country as a place full of technology, tall buildings but something was strange, when we draw something which has tall buildings we often do not draw trees and show it full of pollution. But in my dream I saw a place with full of tech and even with plants and no air pollution, the buildings have green plants and the cars are the once with battery and do not emit pollution. I really dreamy of a world beyond our imagination, and I want to make this country like that place I dreamt off”’ as Larry finished I could feel proud seeing outside, and see an eco friendly and techy country, even today in 2056.
